The gallery is reopening with a phenomenal Columbus favorite, Terry Norman!
Norman is a self-taught artist who works most notably with charcoal and pastels, with recent forays in leather paint customizing highly-stylized shoes as works of art. His use of charcoal is intensely detailed, creating a photographic-level of intensity in his portraits.
Norman has been featured in an array of media and venues, including: The Columbus Alive, Experience Columbus, The Art of Republic, Columbus Museum of Art, First Commonwealth Bank, Marcia Evans Gallery, Short North Gallery Hop, Breakfast with the Artist, the Rhodes State Office Tower and recently Two Truths. He is the artist behind the well-known and epic mural of Richard Pryor in the Short North. You can see more of Norman’s work on Instagram.
Opening: Friday April 15 / 7:00 pm / Free
Exhibit will be on display from April 15 – June 18.
