A wondrous thing happened at Streetlight Guild one night. House favorites Trista Hill (harp) and Phil Maneri (bass) were killing the stage with all manner of sonic cosmic improvisation, and producer/mix engineer Storm9000 was sitting in the back, vibing. Storm captured a snippet of their playing and worked the magic that he does, turning it into a dope beat. They all liked the results so much that they combined forces and recorded a whole record, Urban Elegance.
The album drops soon, and Streetlight Guild is honored to host the group for a listening and Q&A session! How did they do it? What went into the idea? What does this say or offer about Columbus music? They’ll speak on all of that and more.
